Investment Strategy
Dialectic’s investments start with a favorable thesis on the Company which is rooted in research and due diligence. The attributes we favor include:
Primary Capital Investments - We seek to make significant, value-creating investments in small/micro-cap companies, both public and private, at various stages of development. We aim to create value by providing “solution capital” that addresses financing needs, solves balance sheet issues, fund acquisitions or drives organic growth.
Management Alignment - We look to partner with high quality management teams, or will help to build them if needed. We favor investments where we can have ongoing influence without being adversarial. Where appropriate, we may seek board representation.
Alignment of Incentives - We want to be paid for success, and we structure our fees accordingly. We seek solutions that enable all the company’s shareholders to succeed. We don’t believe in transferring value from – or excess risk to – existing shareholders as part of an investment thesis
